Distribution Agreement with CapitalBio

BioDot, the leading supplier of system tools for the research, development, and commercialization of diagnostic tests has finalized a distribution partnership with CapitalBio.

CapitalBio has a broad product offering and expertise in the biochip arena which will compliment BioDot's quantitative, non-contact dispensing. Under the terms of the agreement, CapitalBio can promote and sell BioDot products outside of the Shanghai province specific to government accounts such as the Center of Disease Control and the Inspection and Quarantine facilities. In addition, CapitalBio and BioDot have agreed to work together to position both companies products for complete range of biochip and molecular diagnostic applications. “The agreement is truly synergistic”, stated Guangwei Fan, Sales Manager at CapitalBio, “as we are now able to expand our applications focus into markets such as Lateral Flow, where BioDot is a leader”. Tom Tisone, President of BioDot commented that “with CapitalBio's extensive sales force, the agreement will give BioDot China support into regions where we don't have coverage.”
